Show n’ Tell 2

First, I want to thank those who voted on my 2nd What to Wear poll!! Here are the results:

There was a tie between two outfits (I wish there could’ve been a tie breaker, perhaps if I had posted the poll earlier lol)
I ended up taking it upon myself to choose between the two outfits in the end!

And, guess what! I got the job!! So thanks a lot everyone :) I’m really excited about starting.

Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails nail strengthener. I haven’t used this type of nail polish treatment in awhile. I feel like it works really well, I mean you guys have seen how long my nails can grow. ;D>

My grandmother gave me these to cheer me up. (I was the only one out of my siblings running errands, getting things together yesterday for my mom’s bday- AND I got a flat tire doing it… so I was just totally pooped and annoyed by the time I was done >_>.)

Weekend Thrifting! (2)

I went thrifting again and found some great things.

This time I went some place a little bit closer to me. I think it might be my new favorite thrift store. If anyone in Georgia wants to check it out, it’s located here: 3303 Centerville Hwy, Snellville, GA, 30039 (Goodwill, next to the Ingles grocery store)

This time I spent a total of $33.46 (tax not included) on 8 items.

1 x pink gym shorts- the funny thing about these shorts is that they say “GT” on them, I still would have gotten them regardless… but GT stands for Georgia Tech (Georgia Institute of Technology). A school where all of the super duper smarties go. I’m not even trying to front like I went to that school, currently go to that school, or have any plans to go to attend that school lmao! It would be nice if I knew how to remove the logo… anyone know? *shrugs* oh well.

The REAL color. The flash made it appear lighter in the other photos

A green blouse, it’s really sheer and although it’s long sleeve the fabric makes me think it’ll still be light and airy. And I don’t know if you can see it, but there is a small dotted stain on the front of the blouse. Hopefully it’ll come out.

My most favorite find of them all!! I have to work on the back zipper a little bit, but it’s nothing serious. I initially thought it was a dress (found it on the dress rack), but after trying it on, I was like… no… I’d have to definitely wear short/pants/skirt under this. I love the pattern sooo much. Only problem is I have no clue what shoes to wear with it. Any ideas?

Outfit of the Day: 4/20/2013

4/20 didn’t go as planned…

It was to head to Candler Park to enjoy the SweetWater 420 Festival, but yeah… it was just a mess.
Which was sort of expected, but at the same time… Damn!

Traffic out the ass, trying to find parking took at least an hour, then when we finally walked over to the park we were hit with this long ass line that curved and swerved to who knows where. I couldn’t tell where it stopped!
So I ended up just saying, “Fuck it.”

My friend and I left and hung out around Agnes Scott College/Downtown Decatur for a bit, got some food, then went home (I was better off staying home ;) I still celebrated hehe). Aside from things not going according to plan… At least I still looked cute. Hah!!

I’ve had this dress for…. maybe 4/5 years? This was my first time wearing it because… I just wasn’t sure HOW to wear it.
It looked weird and humpty dumpty on me (maybe I’m just too use to form fitting clothes?) and none of the shoes I had matched. But, I put a belt around the waist and just put on some brown boots (I almost wore brown cowboy boots??? Maybe it’s good that I didn’t hehe) And voila. I think I looked good. :)

Autumn and I, totally unprepared :P

Outfit of the Day: 4/3/2013

Yo!

So, this was the runner up outfit from the poll here. Unfortunately my “photographer” and I had a little…. dispute recently so, I had to take these photos myself lol. It’s only a few, but I hope you’ll like them anyway.

Nooo, I have no tattoos (and I sure as hell wouldn’t get that, and on my hand- NO!) I drew on my hand out of pure boredom while waiting for my next class to start lol

 

I tried to take a photo with my babies, but they wouldn’t stop trying to jump on me and give me kisses :P lol

 

I have to go to sleep now. I skipped school Monday and missed out on the first part of my English Exam, and now I have to come up to school tomorrow at 6AM to take it (Mind you, I only have classes Monday and Wednesday… this sucks lol.)
