5 Days to Go!

Hey everyone!!

I’ve gotten a little busy since starting school, it’s going well so far! I’ve also gotten a little busy preparing for the cruise. 5 more days left!! I’m all packed up and ready to go!

Today I purchased the last few things that I felt I’d need for the trip. (Removal cream, toothbrush, shower spongey thingy, etc. I’m not sure if I should review the cream?) but I anyway, I grabbed a couple of waterproof makeup products among a couple of other things, take a look:

Marley/Havana Twists

I plan on switching up my hair style tomorrow!!

I’d like to have a new style before I go back to school in a couple of weeks, and I’ll keep in this style until after my cruise is over. :)

The style is called Marley twists (or Havanna, I call them Marley because that’s the type of hair I use). Marley/Havana twists are basically two-strand twists with hair extensions. ¬†Marley/Havana twists haven’t become that popular where I live (or at least I haven’t seen many women with the style- only 1 to be exact lol), but I still like them nevertheless! I had some last year and everyone loved it. Most people thought they were dreads though lol.

Marley is the type of hair extensions used for the style, and it can be purchased at your local beauty supply stores.
$4.99/pack

Havanna is also the name of the hair extension, but I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) can only be purchased online here:¬†FingerComber.com.
Price: 12.99/pack

There are plenty of tutorials that teach you how to install these twists yourself, and so that’s the route I plan on going again.
Here are some different ones for those who may be interested in trying it out themselves. It’s very easy!

I’ll share pics of how it comes out, laterrrr!! :3

Show n’ Tell 2

First, I want to thank those who voted on my 2nd What to Wear poll!! Here are the results:pollresults

There was a tie between two outfits (I wish there could’ve been a tie breaker, perhaps if I had posted the poll earlier lol)
I ended up taking it upon myself to choose between the two outfits in the end!

And, guess what! I got the job!! So thanks a lot everyone :) I’m really excited about starting.

Now, on to my Show n’ Tell!! I bought a few new things this weekend. :3

I liked the pattern on this dress but when I got home and tried it on I soon learned that it’s rather… shapeless/boxy :/ Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. It has little pockets though, I thought that was cute.
$8.00

Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails nail strengthener. I haven’t used this type of nail polish treatment in awhile. I feel like it works really well, I mean you guys have seen how long my nails can grow. ;D>
So I stand by it!
1.99 (was on sale)

My grandmother gave me these to cheer me up. (I was the only one out of my siblings running errands, getting things together yesterday for my mom’s bday- AND I got a flat tire doing it… so I was just totally pooped and annoyed by the time I was done >_>.)

Adventure Time Nail Art

Hey everyone, I just finished my nails! I did an Adventure Time theme, and while it was really fun to do… It wasn’t easy. So, while its not the most perfect, I’m still pretty proud of what I’ve done! :P Aside from some nail polishes, I only used acrylic paint and a brush.

(And I know, I need to clean up my right hand, but I’m giving it time to dry first!! :P)
