As promised, yesterdays outfit, which you all chose for me to wear! :)
Again, thanks to everyone that participated in the first “What to Wear!?”
If you missed out and want o see what the other outfits were, you can read the previous post here: #1: What to Wear
The results of the poll:
Obviously, outfit #3 won lol!
I hope you guys like it. The wig I decided to wear last minute. I wanted to try something different. It was my first time ever wearing it outside of my home hahaha. Everyone seemed to like it though, so that’s good. Personally, I prooooobably won’t be wearing it again any time soon. :P
It’s supposed to be spring, you know: The flowers are supposed to be pretty and in bloom, and the skies are supposed to be clear and sunny… Psh, could’ve fooled me. It was freezing today! I just like to be lazy and warm in this kinda weather, so a lot of my outfits have been put together more so for comfort than for style.. But I even forgot my jacket at home because I wasn’t expecting it to be THAT cold hahaha. I was freezing my little ass off! Today I went for a tomboy/boyfriend(? i guess) kinda look. I don’t know, I felt cute though.
A flannel + graphic tee+ skinnys+ a pair of worn out chucks. Easy? Yep.
I’m such a goof :P
And of course, these are the glasses I purchased.
Got them off eBay, they were only a buck (plus some change) and free shipping! No links, but you can find them very easy. Seriously, just go to the eBay.com website and search “Nerd Glasses”. You’ll see they come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and most are under 2 dollars.
On another note, I’ve also been thinking, maybe I’ll start posting the outfits that I go raving in… Maybe you guys aren’t ready for that
;) haha, we’ll see!
This little outfit was inspired by this manwha (Korean comic) that a friend (Thanks Nikki! Hahaha) got me into. It’s called, “The Friendly Winter” by Lee Jun. Go read it!! It’ll tug at your heart strings and also make you smile at the cute moments.
Anyway, I noticed one of the main characters, Da-Jeong, dresses in these hoodie+ puffy vest+ skirt/tights combinations.
I have a few puffy vest but have only worn them maybe once or twice, now I kind of want to build a colorful collection of them to match with hoodies.
To put a similar look together, try to go with a cute (preferably) over-sized hoodie and puffy vest. You can either do leggings/tights alone or a cute mini skirt.
If you go with a mini skirt you should play around with fun patterned (polka dots, stripes) socks/tights. Or some knee/thigh high socks. You have a lot of option
But your main goal is to keep it youthful and cute.
I’d like to give this look another try some time while it’s still cold, preferably with brighter colors.
